After a lengthy break from the SoCalTrials website, we are back up, and ready for the new competition season. The schedule has been worked on by all clubs, and for the most part follows the exact same weekends we have had for years.
Round 1 of our 8 round series will be held September 24th in sunny Lucerne Valley, California, at Cougar Buttes (pretty much the HOME of the Plonkers). From there, in late October we'll be headed to Cahuilla, for rounds 2 and 3, with the two days being hosted by the boys from down south, San Diego Trials Riders (SDTR). Next on the schedule will be Keyesville in December, hosted by Big Feets.
A mid-winter fun ride will be held in early January at Romoland, and then the competition picks back up for another two rounds the weekend of February 17. these will also be at Romoland, and hosted by Valley Observed Trials Enthusiasts (VOTE). March 11 we are back in the high desert with the Plonkers for round 7. then finally, the grandaddy of them all, the 48th annual El Trial de España returns to Cahuilla, at Motoventures, April 21st and 22nd. This event is getting bigger and better with each season, and we are gearing up for the 50th! That is some serious history, right here in our own backyard.
So start your practicing, renew your AMA card, hell- get a new bike! We will see YOU real soon!
