Happy New Year!

See that photo above? There must be a story here, right? Well, if you follow along on our companion Facebook page, you may have noticed this same photo being posted, albeit with the top cut off, looking all grainy, and generally just a wreck. What gives? I mean, in the end, I was just trying to say Happy New Year to all of our riders. How hard could that be?

Let's break it down. December 26, 12:11 am, I recieve the following text from Gabby:

Damie, could you pls make HNY SCTA FB cover photo!? Pretty please? I measured the one which is there now and it says: 1640x668. But Google says 851x315[px] loads fastest…whatev. Just pls make one...

Next, this message (bear in mind, it's past midnight):

Something like this would be plenty awesome!

Like this?

Can I create something like this? Easy enough I say.

Plenty awesome? Umm, sure. I'll just grab a photo of some of the boys, perhaps include a pine tree for some seasonal reference, and and then crop, resize, add a few words. Easy peasy. I do this all the time. Brazenly I reply:

Sure I will. I didn't say which day though.

Time passes. Just a day later however, my good friend Gabby notices that I kind of missed my self-imposed 10:00 am deadline. Ever persistent, Gabby fires off:

Me; a boatload of excuses. Gabby, with her thinly veiled threats. I can see through those smiley faces. Where is this thing going?

So on and on, blah blah, whatever. Finally about the picture: it's a great image of Bill 'Big Rock' Bliven, Clive Hannon, and I think...my buddy Wes!

All that aside; From ALL OF US,  we wish you a very happy new year.
