Talk Trials > Got my new bike Looking to go riding this weekend.

Guys I got a new bike and it is a four stroke.

I am going to need LOTS of practice on this beast.

Anybody going out to Santa Rosa or/and Rhomoland this Saturday & Sunday? I can ride either day or both days at either place. Looking for some company while I break this beast in or should I say it breaks me in.

Thanks Guys.

We'll be at Santa Rosa on Sunday. Nothing better than seeing a new bike get it's first scratch!

What a strange statement "Nothing better than seeing a new bike get its first scratch". Surely any trials bike rider would have empathy for a new bike owner that drops his new bike, not joy?

Must be a California thing I guess? LOL.............

It was a joke Billy. Surely they have bad humor in Texas :)

It is just something that invariably happens. I must say, it is somewhat of a right of passage for the bike. Enjoy the journey.

Hey Billy!

Looks like you and the Beta 4 stroke are getting along pretty good already! I am sorry I had to witness your first scratch though.

Would you send me the particulars on those riding pants again. I am having a hard time finding the exact one you have. Thanks.

Hey Paul........ Yes I scratched, on a sandy uphill no less? As for the pants you will need to go to a good bicycle store as they are basically bicycle rider pants. The brand is called "Specialized". They are a well known brand in the bicycle world. Yes I am liking the 4T Beta and after a few weeks of get my head around how to ride a four stroke vs a two stroke I should be back in the game. Thanks for the 4T riding tips on Sunday. Back out next Sunday?

Hey Billy.
Sorry to hear about scratching your new bike. I just put the first scratch on my new EVO and I almost cried. Plenty more to come the way I ride.
If any of you guys ever head up to Bishop look me up I have some great place to ride.
